Tarangire National Park (approximately 120km from Arusha). Tarangire is renowned for its elephant families, iconic baobab trees, the Tarangire River, seasonal swamps and savannah. The park is also home to buffalos, giraffes, bushbucks and wildebeests amongst others. These animals gather along the Tarangire River and are always closely followed by predators such as lions and leopards.
