ABOUT US
African Ratel Safari was launched in 2019 by Jovin John, a native Tanzanian. Jovin was born in Arusha and raised in Arusha and Moshi. He took his primary and secondary studies in Arusha and Moshi.
Afterward, he managed to attend the Tourism and Wildlife School in Arusha, where he gained profound knowledge of Tanzania’s flora and fauna and studied the Tourism and Driver Tour Guiding course.
Since 2017, Jovin has worked as a Professional Tour Guide for several companies, independently conducting the Northern and Southern Tanzania Safaris.
During that period, he gained comprehensive experience and established an extensive personal network in the local tourism sector that allowed him to make his biggest dream come true: starting his own company.
